Q.What does the Worcester Bosch 12-year guarantee actually cover?
As a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer, Hoopla can register a manufacturer's guarantee of up to 12 years on a new gas or oil boiler when we supply and fit it. It covers the boiler for that period, subject to an annual service to keep it valid — which we can carry out for you each year. Only accredited installers are able to offer this length of cover.
Q.Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. Hoopla is Gas Safe registered, which is a legal requirement for anyone working on boilers, gas appliances or flues in the UK. We're also OFTEC registered for oil and LPG heating, so we can look after homes both on and off the mains gas grid.
Q.Do you handle landlord gas safety certificates?
Yes, and it's a particular strength. Nicky, who runs Hoopla, is an expert on landlords' certification and responsibilities, so we handle CP12 landlord gas safety records for landlords and letting agents across the Thames Valley — booked in, carried out and certified without you having to chase.
Q.Can you install air conditioning, and is finance available?
Yes. We install air conditioning — including Worcester Bosch split systems, as our reviews describe — and 0% APR finance is available to spread the cost of an air-conditioning installation. Just ask when you enquire and we'll talk you through the options.
Q.Do you fit heat pumps and renewables?
We install both air source and ground source heat pumps alongside traditional boilers, so whether you're keeping gas or oil for now or looking at a lower-carbon system, we can advise on what genuinely suits your home rather than pushing one option.
Q.Which areas do you cover?
We're based near Henley-on-Thames and work within roughly a 20-mile radius — including Reading, Caversham, Marlow, Maidenhead, Windsor, Beaconsfield, Ascot, Bracknell, Wargrave and Wokingham. If you're just outside, get in touch and we'll let you know.
Q.What are your opening hours?
The office is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. You're welcome to email or send an enquiry any time — one reviewer sent theirs over the weekend, had a call back from Alice on the Monday and the work done by the Wednesday.
